Make your DOS programs display any .GIF or .BMP files,
or play a .WAV file, without any programming.
- You character-based DOS application runs in a Windows DOS-Box and is
completely unaffected.
- From within your DOS program you can open a separate MS-Windows window,
in which you can display your image files (.BMP or .GIF).
- From within your DOS program, you can anytime change the contents of this
separate window.
- From within your DOS program, you can modify the title of this window.
- From within your DOS program, you can time close this window or re-open it.
- Your DOS application may be written in any language you wish.
- The only requirement is that it can run in a Windows 95/98/NT DOS Box.
More, you can do it from your Unix applications !!!
- Just connect a Windows machine on your UNIX TCP/IP Network.
- And, run your program on the Windows machine, via your favorite Telnet emulator.
- Yes, you can also do it over the Internet, even from a HTML page.
All you need is an IP address that can be reached from the Unix (the sender)
side.
And of course, you can send a .BMP or .GIF file to
be displayed, or a .WAV file to be played, from the DOS (or Unix) command line.
